Thinking of about my 30th in about 5 weeks and came up with the idea of all of us heading to Newcastle...'we' are from Manchester, I do not want to spend my 30th in Manchester.

'We' (mainly me & my brother in law have dismissed Leeds because Leeds is scum for obvious reasons :D unless this statement can [with picture evidence] be scrutinised].

Now dismissing Gazza and Raoul Moat as bizarre exceptions can people have a fun filled night in Newcastle?

I'm actually thinking of 2 nights as in Friday & Saturday, with Saturday starting off with a meal.

This is all just an idea, but suggestions are welcome.

Edinburgh might look nicer, but you'll have more fun in the toon.

There's even a shopping centre that only has bars in it. Although why the developers thought geordies would need their bars under a roof I have no idea. :p

Where abouts do you go out in Manchester?

Deansgate? Print works? Northen Q?

Might help in suggesting places in Newcastle or pointing you to different places which might be better.

You can have a fine old time. Juat avoid the Big Market and youll love it. Its pricey mind, aomeplaces.. saying that I think im getting old hah.

Fantastic night out. Always fun and as long as you are not a raving chav who likes a bit of a barny just avoid the Big Market and anywhere else is great.

What sort of music/clubs you into? Can probably point you in the right direction then.

newcastle is a good night out but then again thats where i go every weekend :p

Has a range of bars so you won't really get to bored and yeah i would agree the bigg market but only the bottom end. the top end isn't to bad. Most people will recommend liquid or digital but ohso is a new and upcoming bar that offers a good night out. Just don't wear anything with henleys on or white trainers but dont suppose you would anyways
