Seems like we have been there before with this film, so it will be interesting to see what Shayamalan thinks is different about it to be involved with it, but I think I'll wait for a rental, won't go to see it in the cinema.
I'm not the only person whose opinion of him seems to have gone down. I really enjoyed his earlier films, aside from both The Sixth Sense & Unbreakable which are brilliant, I also liked The Village as I didn't see the twist coming. Signs was ridiculous, but it was still an enjoyable film.
He's not fared so well since though. Lady in the Water was terrible and The Happening was pure nonsense. The Last Airbender doesn't look much good and has been given terrible reviews.
Be nice to see if he can redeem himself.
