I'm a little bit late to the party in terms of doing this properly (been relying on easytune for OC'ing up to now) - what OCs have people got with this setup? I'm guessing it's around the 3.8GHz range rather than 4GHz+. What settings are you using for a stable 24/7 OC?

Use the search plenty of info, myself,davyboy,bulldog all had UD5's when they came out we were all on 4ghz+

Mine was 4.2ghz air 24/7 and a lot of people run 4.4ghz water

PCIe spacing on was the worst i have seen for xfire and ill be going tri fire when the gfx card war settles

i had to move my 2nd card to the 8x slot, now is running 5c cooler on both cards.

Currently priming @ 3.6GHz now, I seem to get 1 core (3) consistently 6-7deg hotter than the others (at stock speed too under load) - is this normal?

I used to have i7 920 CO as I only managed to get 3.90ghz and couldn't get to near 4Ghz+ as because the CO chip need more voltage and lead to hottest temperature. This is why I brought myself ocuk 4ghz bundles last year and I managed to get to 4.6Ghz on 4 cores 4 threads, before leave it as 4.20Ghz as my default setting for winter, and 4.00Ghz for summer.

Quite happy with my cherry chipset i7 920 dO. You could buy i7 930 from ocuk and will let you ease to 4Ghz+.

Thats me for the night - Primed for 75mins on small fft's, got up to 86deg in Real Temp with Vcore = 1.3V @ 3.6GHz.

Intel max temp is 85C for all i7 processor chips (c0 and d0) but I rather at 75C for safer temp exspecially extra 10C from the hot weather heatwave.

crikey, dropped Vcore down to 1.275V and Real Temp only max'ing at 72deg so far!

as mentioned he has a C0 chip which might mean the clock would be a lot lower
