New Tarantino film coming this summer - Inglorious Barstewards*

I'm a big fan of the mans work but this film did not live up to my expectations. Tarantino has done better.

It felt like a trilogy condensed into a single film. The scope of the story was too epic for the length of time given to it.

probably the best film released this year that ive seen. a very enjoyable film

about 20 million times better than the awful original too

Col. Hans Landa saved the film for me. ******** squad didn't really have characters as good as Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs or other Tarantino movies for me, but bad guy characters like Col. Hans Landa was really really great writing and acting.

Also the part where they are talking about accents later in the film... I don't think I have felt so nervous watching a film in a long time. Brilliant!

Watched this for the 2nd time a couple of days ago.

Watched it at the cinema the first time and on blu-ray the 2nd, definately prefered it on blu-ray, looked so much better and sounded just as good

I've just seen this, and it's good, but not great.

I didn't see the point in the 2 story plots, but I guess that's what you get with Tarantino.

The introduction of the Stiglitz was great, however he was killed off way too early in the bar scene.

watched this last night, on sky premiere, was completely not the film i was expecting, i thought the acting was really good, Christoph Waltz stole the film, i though Brad pitt was good as well, and the cinema foyer scene cracked me up in how tense and awkward the characters were.

too many good scenes

The part I really remember is Christoph Waltz's entrance at the restaurant...

"Ah Landa you are here" says Goebbels

Then heavy booming heartbeat like noise as the camera switches to wotsherface theatre girl and follows her gaze to Hans Landa standing behind/side her...

You could just feel it... :D

That was a really good scene, but the beginning was probably the best for me, really set to mood for how "the jew hunter" was going to be portrayed.

Watched this on Sky anytime and I have to agree with how well Waltz plays the Landa role.

What I don't understand is that when Landa and the cinema girl were in the restraunt and Landa ordered her a glass of milk, I thought this was him telling her that he knew who she was (thats how it was portrayed anyway) so am I right in thinking that it was just portrayed this way and wasn't actually the case?

i think he did have an idea who she was, but wasn't 100% sure and ordered the milk to see how she would react to the situation but she handled it well thats why he changed the subject because maybe he might have got the wrong person!
