Great, great game. And no infuriating roflstomping killstreak insanity. It's a grownups game.

totally agree, only got this in the steam sale, and loving it:D
 
i just cant decide on a gun, i swap sooooooo much in game, what is the daddy in assault now the new patch is out? and what is the whore gun of choice over all the classes?

The sound is awesome isn;t it?


I'll never forget when i was using a tank for cover and the driver powered u pthe engine and moved off, made a hell of a sound. :D (made an even better one when he hit the at mine just down the road :o)


Got my first ever platinum the other day, for the knife :D
 
Wee, just got this game and its pretty good fun so far! I've added the =TFU= server to my favourites, as well as the OcUK one (Though the doesn't actually seem to be running?)

What other servers do you guys mainly play on? Especially as the =TFU= one I do have is set tp hardcore, which I'm thinking is not the best place for a newb to start :p

Trouble with M16 is that the red dot is practically a requirement due to the terrible iron sight.

With the AN-94 or XM8 you can afford the extra 40mm smoke grenade or light weight pack (pre-hit box patch anyway, just gets you killed quicker now =/)

Personally I always use a x4 scope with it. The XM8 would be my choice if I had to use iron sights.
 
Finally got all my pins!

If anyone's struggling to get the flag defender pin you need to put a defense marker on the flag before killing anyone, I should have searched it earlier :p

Still cant get to grips with the M416, but I got my Steyr AUG plat star earlier today on Beer Drinkers :D

In terms of power and power at range the AN-94 is still the daddy. But i dont use it because everyone else uses it (plus i got the plat star already :p)

The M16 is good esp with 4x scope.
 
Haha, I guess it is really down to personal pref. I always tap off single shots unless im point blank or have been ambushed.

Also on the topic of assault rifles. The G3 is awesome! Provided you treat it as a semi-auto rifle, the moment you go auto none of the bullets hit even point blank :p
