Imagine How advanced CPU, GPu, RAM and HDD will be in 10 years time.

you can probs build a PC that will max out crysis less than £300

i have a feeling that by then graphics cards will be a external case that sits next to your system with their own psu inside :)

Genital implants will power our graphics cards.

Cracked me up, but must censor myself - lol.

People have said for years about having graphics cards in huge external cases with their own power supply, still hasn't happened. I think tech will continue to get smaller but the end product will most likely remain the same.

Multi-core on board GPUs. At least this'll be the case if CPU progression is to be followed (multi-chip platforms giving way to multiple core CPUs. Who knows maybe even G-hyper threading!).

i think they could have done with the seperate case this gen tbh :p
there are people having trouble fitting some of the bigger cards into cases now as it is and the temps they put out seem to be the highest they have ever been

i can imagine it would make upgrades less frightening to people who are afraid to open the case too if it was just a connection to a pci slot on the back of the tower

One thing is for sure whatever you think they will be like they'll be quite different :) Very hard to predict technology that's not been created yet....;)

So you're all disregarding the fact that the human race is ending December 2012 huh?

Bunch of ostriches if you ask me!

I'm hoping memrisitors and hardware based on graphene instead of silicon will appear.
