Ibiza

Anyone going between 8th and 15th?

Me and the missus are heading out there this Saturday for 7 nights so you and I will overlap somewhat...

I've booked a couple of tickets for Armin @ Amnesia on Tuesday 13th already, but I think for the rest of the time we're just going to see where the mood takes us.

I have a question for the people that have been before: I'm guessing it's pretty easy to get club tickets while you're out there without too much fear of them selling out? If so - where's the best place to grab the tickets; we're staying at the Garbi hotel in Playa D'en Bossa which I believe is just down the beach from Bora Bora.

Really, really can't wait!

Im going to be taking about £400-£450 spending money for a week, but thats going on nothing but clubbing goodies, some drinks and food only. :) as it was a last minute decision to go, we havnt had much time to save. So this is the amount we are taking each.

My mate who is working over there should be able to get discount on entry, food etc.

I was trying to refrain myself from posting in this thread but i'm about to explode so will. I would love to go again but I currently dont have a job so couldnt really afford it. Only been once in 2006 but I have wanted to go back ever since and have even dreamed of ibiza

I stayed in es pla in san antonio, half board and flights in a good room cost £300. I spent just over £700 on 6 big club nights, drinks and clubbing goodies. I tended to miss lunch everday due to being in bed or not hungry. Cream meets goodgreef was amazing at Amnesia. Make sure you do the clubs and dont just mess about in west end as a lot of people tend to do. The taxi queues take ages too, get a private car it will cost a couple of euros more but you get a more interesting journey and good music

I cant really see how Ibiza rocks fits in with the Ibiza scene but suppose some will find it a change

If I have a sudden urge to go, even without a job, then I would go for the closing parties and buy tickets for the big nights first so I dont have to mess around getting them when there (even though we had no problems before) It would just make it easier than taking out 30-50 euros for a ticket which oculd be sold out

yes please...

Cream Closing Party
Main Room

* Eric Prydz
* Style of Eye
* Anthony Probyn
Terrace
* Paul van Dyk
* Eddie Halliwell
* Gareth Wyn
* Giuseppe Ottaviani

edit - think they have the main room and terrace the wrong way around on ibiza spotlight

For gods sake stay out of the west end.

Unless you are a footie fan /oik/ gold wearing, chain smoking council house dweller.

;)

Can you tell I didn't like it :D

Nice :)

I haven't ordered any tickets yet so will just have to try get them on the day from the hotel or whatever.

Taking about 1800 euros to spend with some more in the bank if needed - hopefully not!

Can't wait but not looking forward to getting up at 3am tomorrow morning :(

All this talk of Ibiza... Lots of work mates have gone this year in various groups at various times and I wish I could go.

Last time I went was is 2001 and stayed in the Casita blanca, the main 18-30's hotel. Bit of a dive and wouldnt go and stay there again. I know 18-30 have changed their image now, but still.

The first time was in 1998 Saturday the 30th May, depart East Midlands at 22:55 with Thompson. We didnt go with 18-30 but instead booked with Thomas Cook I think. The Hotel was called Laura S'atalya and was family run. Mum, dad and their two sons, Alex and Vincent. Best place ever. So friendly and fun especialy during the World cup. The following year the family went with 18-30 as they would make more money, I went back in 1999 with my missus of the time and stopped in the same place, we all new each other and had a great time.

During the 3 times I went, I went to Space opening on a Sunday which was amazing, Es Paradis opening which was equally amazing. Did the west end the realised there was better things out there.

So want go back now.:( I guess I would go for a relaxing holiday rather than a clubbing getting hammered type of holiday.
