Ooh, it's like Alien Breed done right. Controls are nicer. Being an Alien fan, it gives me the willies - welding doors, motion tracker, deployable sentry guns, etc.

I had that problem too guessing maybe the servers was getting hammered but if you do keep trying it should let you in a game

There is offline mode which it calls "training", that's what I've been playing.

got this downloaded round midniight said id just have a quick go, 3 hours later and i was still playing.

Superb game and for free was just the icing on a very sweet cake

afaik you can't unlock stuff or choose maps though?

Just played online with some randoms.....it's good but friendly fire is irritating as people are morons.
