Cooler for nVidia 8800GT

I currently have an XFX nVidia 8800GT and I've been looking for a fanless cooler and I've seen the Thermalright HR-03-GT available at another etailer.

I was just wondering if this could be used without a fan attached if I got silent case fan or something to go near it.

Try and find an Accelero S1, they are fanless although you can cable tie a 120mm fan on if you want, I had 8800GT`s in sli and an S1 on each, they are brilliant coolers and come with ram sinks and mosfet coolers.

I've just received my Accelero S1 Rev2 cooler and trying to fit it to my 8800GT but the sticky tape on the heatsinks isn't very sticky and they keep falling off. What could I use instead?
