So its a steam title i guess? will we be able to activate retail copies on steam?

All other Steamworks games have had mandatory activation on retail copies. I should think this would be no different, dear boy.

I wouldn't be so sure, have a look at the K2 back catalogue and there aren't (if any) Steamworks titles. A lot of their games did require activation via Steam but it doesn't actually add them to it.

One online store says, "Free Vegas DLC Pack when you pre-order this title before 27th August 2010", does this mean that the other shops don't include the DLC because they don't mention it? It's the same price.

Ah, the two highstreet retailers I was talking about knocked their prices down from 29.99 to 27.99 just today, hadn't realised. Just checked my email and my pre-order has been knocked down in price.

Yeh, you can tell by their site layout. It's exactly the same, with the same tabs and lists etc.
