Odest card i had lying about was a geforce 4 ti4800se 8x agp, was working fine, ended up giving it away on MM as i had no rig of my own to put it in.

Was my first too - playing Quake for the first time with this was a revelation. Deathmatching then involved everyone lugging their pcs to someones house and then spending most of the time getting the network to work.

I actually just bought one of those recently off ebay, 99p as I was the only one that bid on it. Classic card to add to the collection. Currently playing through Dungeon Keeper 1 (with the 3dfx patches) again on my legacy rig.

i remember the days of tryin to get descent to run on my old Ati Mach64 4mb graphics card.... did not go well.

back in the days when it was tightly stuffed in a beige escom pc with a pentium p60 and a 540mb hdd 0_o

Unfortunately I haven't kept any of my old 3Dfx cards

but I do have these.

The Creative 3D Blaster Annihilator Pro is my "precious" it's boxed and sealed and has never been opened or used ! A brand new old card.... the card that introduced Hardware TransForm & Lighting and introduced the whole new term Graphics Processing Unit aka GPU to the world.
ATi Rage Fury MAXX (codename Aurora) - fantasic card and super fast... just a darn shame ATi only made 2 drivers for it

Riva TNT2 Ultra Gamer - I just love this card. The card that introduced me to 3x 32 (32bit true colour resolution, 32bit Z/stencil buffer, 32mb memory,
Riva TNT 2 M64 - good card for the average gamer.
