HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S?

I've narrowed my upgrade choice to these two phones. I want to go with the Desire as I'm much more of a fan with its looks and I like the idea of the optical ball thing and having actual buttons where-as on the Samsung its those silly touch ones which I've hated since my U600!

Also in reviews the Samsung looks very toy-ish. And also they say its incredibly light? I like my phones with some weight :)!

Basically I prefer all the little functional details in the Desire, and I think it looks better. But should I really ignore the Samsungs screen and hardware? Bit confused.

Cheers!

Desire, the Samsung feels like it's going to break.

Very light weight plastic, but unlike others I want some weight to my phone also.

The main thing I like about the Galaxy over the Desire is the 8GB internal storage.

The Samsung is a better phone from a hardware point, and a worse phone from a software/quality point of view.

I'd probably get the Galaxy S, I dont think it feels that cheap to be fair (and I have an iPhone 4 myself and a Desire, which are both considered better 'quality').

It's just very light.

Looking at getting one myself, my current phone (Nokia 6301) weights 96g and this one is only a tad more (118g), so where I am coming from that's perfectly fine with me :)

I am facing the decision of whether to purchase a Desire, Galaxy S (I really want a Galaxy S Pro) or an iPhone 4.

I mainly use the phone for web browsing and email, so Flash support and a hardware keyboard are two things I'd really like.

Can you get the Galaxy S Pro to work in the UK?
