Hi guys, basically my Xperia has broken, so I need to claim on insurance. We are due handset upgrades in February so this is only a 6 month short term phone!!

I can't get a Desire as it is out of stock for 3 - 4 weeks apparently.

So, HTC Legend, or Google Nexus One?? Was looking the HTC HD2 also but I'm bored of WinMo and fancy a change!

Will be sync'd to our Exchange server which I gather Froyo 2.2 now supports properly with the Calendar so that is good!!

Just decide on nicer looks and Sense UI on the Legend, or more functionality, but worse looks and possibly poor battery on the Nexus One!?

HELP!!

The Nexus one all the way, far faster and better specs.

Or you can get the Desire, which is very much like the nexus one and has HTC Sense.

I myself would love a Nexus one, but Ireland only had the Desire.

The Nexus One is the better phone. Equivalent to the HTC Desire, it's estranged twin. I'd go for the functionality - it is not just superior because it has Froyo, the hardware is far better.

Nexus One - It lacks the Sense UI that HTC puts on top of Android on the Legend and Desire, but it's more powerful and a better phone overall.

But why would you run Sense on it?!

I don't run it on my Desire and it's super slick :p

Because Sense looks like the equivalent of phone boobies, it's well ace. Specifically the lock screen, I love the lock screen. The default Android 2.1+ lockscreen is fail.

I heard Google were cancelling the Nexus one? So perhaps better to get a Desire?

Nexus One.

Much better phone, hardware wise, and you can get it easily looking like Sense UI without rooting!
