This would be good.

I know rules are rules, need to be obeyed, etc etc, but I do feel some of the suspensions handed out are a bit OTT. Flexibility with the rules and mod discretion would be awesome; maybe it's out there already, but I have been suspended twice, and one of those times was for a week because I didn't fully star out a swear word...

I think that's the kinda stuff the perception is made of.

Anyway, I shall continue being a good boy now and run along :)

Changes sound good.

All I want from forum moderating is a level of fairness and consitency. Bans for certain actions or inflicted on some and not others (or at least seem to be) and at the same time different mods have different levels of tolerance. Example is swearies, I have been banned for swearing even when fully starring out words yet others have put in a single star or nothing at all and escaped a ban. Consistency people! :p

All in all though this a great forum to be a part of so keep up all the good work guys and let us all continue to use and enjoy OcUK for now and the future :)
 
To play devil's advocate; I have heard some of this before, unbiased reviews, overclocking team etc...What is different this time?
 
I look forward to seeing what you can add to the forums. I'd also be up for contributing with reviews or similar (I missed the official thread of officialness due to commitments at uni.) or if you need any more things like that from members and customers.

It would be nice to see the reputation of these forums to be a bit more mellowed, they're really not as bad as the estranged few make out (on every other forum!), but they could always be a bit more lenient, especially to new members who are just learning their web-etiquette and tech skills. That doesn't mean it should be lax. I always come back here because it's so well moderated, clean, simple, and a great source of knowledge, not just with PCs but almost anything a young guy could want! (OK, not everything!)

Gibbo, if you can get some awesome deals on tomorrow, you're onto a damn good start, and I think the future will be even brighter for OcUK with you onboard again.
 
Pron access for everyone for 24hours to welcome Gibbo back is deserved i think :)
