Strange Colleagues

I've worked with some absolute tools. Too many to list really. In my current bunch there are a few wierdos. What I find funny, is that sometimes you learn to live with BSers and just let them lie and agree with them to make them shut up. However, some people just can't take it and will make them look stupid when they do it. I had a mate that was obsessed with not taking any BS from this guy, and made him look such a fool when we were out with him. It basically stopped him from speaking all night. :)

I'm with him on that one. happens all the time, girl has em hanging out within half an inch of her nipples. Man looks at them. To me, 2 things happend there and the girl played the much bigger part in it.

We had a chap who came in wearing some weird leather braces, belts etc fairly often (we daren't ask why!). In the end he ran away from home (was still fairly young, part time) and joined a cult, taking a van from his place of work to get there (this was after he was inevitably let go by us for various misdoings from what I understand), it was even on TV and in the local news! Oh, someone also caught him singing and dancing to Michael Jackson songs in our workshop on his own once, really odd. I hope he doesn't read these forums! (sorry man) Last I heard he works for a large, popular, craptastic PC chain store.

We work 12 hour shifts in a small team so people can easily become annoying. But one guy who I have only worked with a couple of times does literally no work. He watches cartoons on youtube and laughs his head off constantly but when you walk past his screen he alt tabs.

It generally results in us asking why the email is so funny. :p

We got someone who started recently and he always buts in to your conversation with someone, plus when sat at his computer he just constantly makes noise out of his mouth/nose like he cant breath properly, hes only in his 20's.

Plus he always makes his lunch at work and takes up all the room so no one else can then leaves mess everywhere sits down taking up a whole table and proceeds to eat as nosily as he can mouth open too!

Then he has the habbit of just staring at you. More to add but blood boiling thinking about it. :mad:

One of the Developers where I work is like this. It's so bloody annoying. He will often start a conversation and when you start your input he will instantly start talking over you and cutting you up.

It happens quite a lot and no one has ever said anything out loud to him. When I was new here it used to annoy me loads to the point of me almost saying something to him when he cut me up one day. I then realised that when he does it, everyone just goes quiet, stares at their screens and start clicking/typing again. He then ends up in a conversation on his own which is funnier.

Most annoying is when you are genuinely interested in what someone is saying, be it a story or some advice and he cuts across as the person right at the good bit. His personal hygiene is a little off too.

I would honestly have to tell him straight up that he was interupting me. I could NO WAY live with that day to day. Would wind me up. Do you work with computers and have keyboards nearby? ;)
 
i work with two blokes in their fifties, now one of them is great, pulls his weight and can have a laugh with him. but the other guy is a bone idle oddball. he keeps rubbing his hands and humming to himself and it's so annoying. some days i feel like telling him to shut the **** up.:mad:
 
I once worked with a guy that turned up on his first day with a black eye and bruises. Turns out his bf was bashing him about.

With your colleague taking his shirt off in front of you and singing you songs can't you take a hint. He wants you ;)
