Noctua D14 + Antec 902

Hi.

Quick question.

Does anyone know if an antec 902 would accommodate this CPU cooler, with all four RAM banks occupied? Memory is Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066mhz stuff which i think uses low profile heatsinks? Also the top and rear antec fans are still to be used in conjunction if that makes any difference?

I think you'll need to take one of the case fans depending on the way you mount it.
Same goes for ram, if you mount it exhausting to the back of case you might either need to take off the front fan or place it a bit higher but then I havn't used that cooler for bilion years so I can't confirm on that.

looks fine but then that will depend on mobo really.
 
The compatibility with the ram obviously won't be effected by the case, only possibly the orientation of the cooler and the MB. I have a P6T Deluxe and there would be no problems filling all banks regardless of cooler orientation. I would say just get it (dunno whether you're getting the case or cooler) because the case will fit the cooler height and should fit the cooler in at least one orientation. Worst case scenario you cant use one fan or have to get a slim one.

if your using it with amd socket, on the website theres a new adapter so it doesnt hit the ram heatasinks, and the cooler is mounted 90degrees so exhausts out the top, which will be ace in an antec case witht the big top fan, go to noctua website when you have the cooler to get the adapter free........if your using amd socket.

This, My cooler exhasts out of the top of my 902.
Also, with that orientation you avoid any frustrating conflict with the fan bracket on the window.
