hi iam wanting to cool my cpu, considering overclocking but i still want it to look really cool. i am considering using the Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler; however i would also like to replace the pipes to make either: blue fuild run through clear tubes or to use a blue tube.

this is what it looks like. can anyone offer advice on how to do this, or post a video/link on how to do it.

thanx

Tbh this does defeat the whole object to why corsair designed this; to create an easy pre built watercooling system and although the price is also good is there any point in replacing half a meter tubes tops?

Also I'm a bit of a non-believer with regards to H50's. My housemate has one and his CPU is pretty toasty (I hope he doesn't see this post :p)

Worked really well for me (SG03). Was trying to cool the CPU semi-passively (E8400) via the PSU, but everything was mega toasty (50C general use). After its dropped to 30C general use and is very quiet.

i recommend the H50 if you dont wanna go the full watercooling option, mine was great, a nice insight into what water can do.

...but the bug will get you and you will wanna go the full option later :D

Keeping an e3300 @ 4ghz under 55 degrees load in a Silverstone Sugo SG05, they must be doing something right. :D

the h50 worked really well for me, but there is the notion that some instances are a little more susceptible to vibration than others - in my mind this is more about case reverberation, but its something to be aware of.

If you want it in a different colour, I say get your spray paint out :)

i didn't like mine tbh it allways got clogged with dust and no matter what fans i used it was still to warm i even have double vipers.
