Haha, not a reationship thread.

Why does mine insist on giving me a running commentary on every ******* episode she watches, knowing I am doing work/playing games/otherwise not interested in that stupid most haunted **** she watches?

Does yours do this? Im quite keen to resolve this without putting a hatchet through the tv.

Was reading the forums in peace this morning when I heard the news paper rustling in the kitchen.
Next thing I know I'm having 90% of the news stories read out to me.
me:
"Alright, alright I'm trying to read here, I'll read the paper later myself."

She took no notice and carried on jibbering.

It does my head in with the bloody soaps my Lady Wife watches.

I dont mind glancing at the screen when Home and Away is on as there are some fit young female actresses on it who I can fantasise about when I invite my right hand back to my place for a Coffe.

But Eastenders and that Gay Moslem story line thats been going on for ages does my nut in ! I find it hard when I have to explain to my kids regarding the issues of said storyline.

1. Take any media away from her so she can't talk about them

2. Play some music whilst you're trying to read (Either through speakers or headphones)

3. When playing computer games, use headphones, if she continues to talk to herself then threaten to unplug your headphones and turn your speakers up

Women like to talk, It is half the reason why I won't meet up with her on the way home from work, its nothing but how her day was at work and what else she wants to do tonight.. Most are like this from my own experience.

Nothing wrong with it tbh, I think a lot of men just prefer there own space/time.
