Live Messenger Contacts vanished!

Hello there, I have just signed into my account to find that my entire list has vanished! has this happened to anyone else ? is there a way to get them back at all ?

Try going into your hotmail and go down to contacts and see if they are still there.

You haven't accidentally hid your contacts list by any chance?

I saw the list vanish infront of my eyes! from having a certain amount online to zilch!

I have no contacts in hotmail but if I go to type a new e-mail and for example put a S in the address bar it loads up my contacts beginning with S. So I still have them in a fashion, I just hope I can transfer them across

yeh this happened to me quite a few months back now, absolutly nowt you can do to get them back.... i have had to wait for my contacts to talk to me,
its a HUGE pain in the arse

Though is a wonderful opportunity to see who actually wants to talk to you!

Options > Privacy > right click the contact name > Add to contacts?

Does that work?

It appears a few more problems developted. Iam missing some recent e-mails which have gone and also it seems that this e-mail was sent out to all my contacts (from my e-mail address)

Subject: dear Man :4G 16gb apple iphone

Message: I bought one white apple iphone 4G 16GB from this website ( kogiug.com )to my surprise! it's genuine. much cheaper.You can check it! Hope all is going well for you.

It also appears that I have stopped receiving e-mails all together, after trying to send test e-mails between another hotmail address I have I got no success

Any help would be great
