... I did gut punch a tranny.

In my defense, it was last night in town, I was with my mates minding my own business when he/she/it stood in my way being very touchy asking me for some money and in return i'd get a 'show'. Now at this point I was very polite and declined the 'show', however I was continually blocked from getting past, with my mates just laughing at the situation as this person focused there attention mostly on me.

Things started to turn nasty when I blanked it and tried to get past, to which I felt vice like grip on my arm and saw its other arm moving back (I can only assume it was an incoming punch), so I instinctively punched or pushed my fist into its stomach. There really was no aggression in that moment as it happened to quickly, and my friends and I quickly walked away, although now im feeling quite bad as I guess it wasn't the typical skirmish you'd get into on a friday night in town.

So basically, ignoring the whole 'fighting is wrong' idea.. Is hitting a transexual/transvestite as bad as hitting a woman?

Well a transvestite is essentially a bloke in a frock, so no.

Gut-punching a transsexual is probably a bit out of order, though.
 
Nothing to feel guilty about to be honest, "IT" put its hands on you therefore in my opinion you were justified to defend yourself!

Judging by your description of a person as an IT, I would expect your rendition of events is somewhat one-sided.

I would guess that you attempted to 'cop a feel', realised that she was pre-op and embarassed in front of your mates, assaulted her in an attempt to reassert your questionable manhood.

seriously even if it was a women... he/she was well over the line I wouldn't shed any tears about someone decking them.
 
Could just have been a damn ugly woman, How do you know it was a tranny?

You punched "it" after your discovery in the bedroom didn't you?

Predominantly he refered to her as It, especially in relating his story, which dehumanises her and shows a distinct discrimatory attitude toward her. Also a single transgender person is highly unlikely to instigate a violent altercation with a group of Men without some kind of provocation. I would guess that they were abusive in some way and got scared when she retailiated.
