I reject the idea that how a person is treated should depend on their sex, so my answer is "your question is meaningless".

You used reasonable force in self defence against an adult. Nothing wrong with that.

And yes, if a woman continually blocks a man from getting past, grabs him with one hand and draws back to punch him with the other, I am fine with him hitting her. Women are not children. They are adults.

You picked a pretty woman, deliberately as part of your point. Would your opinion be different with an ugly woman? If so, why?

I didn't miss those points. As others have pointed out it seems like the op might've omitted one or two facts. I'm a little surprised that anyone would be so quick to violence and not ashamed to admit it.

Of course. I'd smack an uggo as soon as look at her, whether she was in my way or not.
 
Chugging off down the derailment line...how do you define a person's sex? It's surprisingly difficult when you get down to the details:

Chromosome type? Even without human intervention, that doesn't always work and therefore can't be used as a concrete definition. Some women are XY.

Primary sexual organs? Leads to the conclusion that people who don't have them for are neuter. Kinda rough on people who have to have them removed for medical reasons, e.g. cancer. Doesn't necessarily match up with the rest of the body, so it doesn't work for that reason as well.

Sex on the birth certificate? That just papers over the need for a definition and is silly. Dear Mr Smith. It has come to our attention that due to an administrative error the wrong sex was written on your birth certificate. You are therefore a woman.
 
If anyone puts your hands on you, specially during a friday night where people have been drinking, you're allowed to defend yourself.

I never let people get into my personal bubble, you don't know what some of the whackos out there are capable of doing.

Or you might get in their space, block their movement when they try to leave, grab hold of them to restrain them and pull your fist back to punch them and then they might defend themself!
 
Or you might try to chat them up, playfully touch their arm, and move your free arm in a way that only a "whacko" could perceive as threatening. Then you get sucker punched.
 
TBH me and some friends (inc some women) were talking about men hitting women the other day, and although us guys were saying its almost ingrained into us to not hit women, if a woman hits you then you hit them right back! The only issue is people might see it and then you have third party involvement, ie getting jumped by x amount of guys because you hit a woman and broke a taboo.

I was basically going to post that, why can't you hit a woman? Because of some retarded morality someone taught you, that you've put zero thought into, its illogical.

If someone had a bat, told me they were going to hit me, and drew it back, if I had the chance to punch that person first, I'd take it, man, woman, tranny, granny, whatever really.

The only time its "wrong" to hit a woman, is when you have no reason to, but for me, when its wrong to hit a woman, its wrong to hit a man aswell.

Yeah, if some incredibly small girl is in a girly slap fight, a punch to the face isn't needed, again same goes if its a small man and theres no real threat. If its some 18 stone woman, with a lot of heft behind a proper punch she's throwing, thats going to hurt me/someone else as much as a man throwing that punch, and stopping her is fine, again, just as it would be if it was a man throwing that punch.


If someone tries to stop you passing, you ask them to go away/leave you alone, you pass and they grab your arm and appear to be starting to swing the other, nothing wrong with punching anyone in that situation. As soon as someone gives the impression they are attacking you, its not all bets are off yet, but a pre-emptive punch to try and stop them and prevent you being hit is completely fine, the other person clearly made the first move, was the aggressor and a punch is self defence.

I'm not so sure - I had my first pair of fake boobs about 10 months back, and they felt really weird. Wouldn't want that again. I think they may have been cursed, too, because my life's been dry ever since. Possibly I became accomplice to a dire sin, I don't know.
