Whats the deal with people reporting a post that someone has made and then posting a reply simply to say "I have RTM'd your post", it just makes you look like a grass, which in turn makes you look like a ****.

I've done it before, it's usually because I want that person to know I had a part in contributing towards their potential punishment, i.e banning/suspension etc.

It's very rare that I do it tbh, generally speaking I don't really rtm peoples post's unless they are being complete idiots and even then it's rare.
 
What i dont like on this forum is certain "high post count" members that think they are holy than thou, they belittle new and current members aswell as indirectly insulting them. Youd of thought it was their forum they way they carry on. Sometimes i feel like i'm in courtroom not an online forum. Get rid of this snotty attitude and im sure it will be a much happier place.

am i alone thinking this?
 
Are we finally making Big.Wayne a Don? I know he's not the only person giving useful advice there but he pretty much carries the Overclocking section by himself. Endlessly helpful and always willing to keep answering questions to even the most technically challenged of posters.

Of course it might be slightly easier not to post swearies or naughty pics? It's not like the rules are hard to understand: in fact, as with all strict rules, they are easier to understand than the less strict version. I've been here ten years, and my only punishment from a mod is a telling off in MM for posting extra information on an item for sale by someone else. Fair enough: it was against the rules even if I thought I was being helpful. This might be because generally I stop and think before posting.

I have no problems with the mod stance here as long as it remains consistent.

I think they should get rid of post counts altogether. I agree with you the members with over 10,000 seem to look down on everyone else and think they are above the rules.
 
deleating peoples sigs for no reason why is this done ? :confused:

mine was fine only said dg and specs now vanished it was smaller than limit :confused:

I was referring to your collection of moany posts, not just the one, 3 in a row.

I suggest you don't post here any more because you're either upset at how you treated because of your sexuality or your complaining about having posts removed or because you were 'outed' for RTM'ing.

I'm not too bothered about post counts either way, but it would be good to have the 'rating' option, i.e. you can thank a user and their rating goes up. I can't remember the proper name of the system but you know what I mean.
