Like a lot of people I play on the SAS server. And yes of course I have played with picklelator with and against picklelator.

A very good player in my opinion and would be more than happy to squad with him/her on any server any time.

I have decided to no longer play on the SAS server even though I enjoy many a game with squarky and the other OCUK regulars due to not agreeing with the banning of Picklelator/armadillo.

While I am sure I will not be missed players of picklelators calibre and the way he plays fairly (i.e doesn't baserape etc) will be.
 
The whole pickle thing, I don't no, the guy can leave the average player being suspect i can see that as every night we play on SAS Pickle cheats gets thrown about server chat.
But personally I don't think he hacks just a good player with far to much time for gaming, and defo needs to get a bit more sun for the summer.

I enjoy playing against him, very skilled m416 user :D and it feels good when you take him down.

The only reason he should ever of got banned is for his lack of teamwork :P Pure K/D ratio whore who does nothing for the team. That's the only down side to his play.
 
Anyone got a list of servers where all the OcUKers play? There's the four in the OP, though I added a couple and they don't seem to even be online?

The decision was not taken lightly and was put in place following a rake of complaints in game, in our IRC channel and via our website by a number of server regulars.

To be clear, we are not saying you are a hacker or a cheater (as everyone knows this is impossible to prove or disprove with the admin tools available).

However following the complaints and allegations you have been watched and specced on the server for some time and following this it was decided a ban was the best course of action. It may be that you are just a very good player and know the game inside out. Some of our own clan members have (wrongly) been accused of hacking in games which they are just very skilled at and we appreciate this may be the case here.

The bottom line is that your level of play (be it natural skill or otherwise) is causing a concerning level of complaints, accusations and spoiling the gameplay for a number of regulars to the point where we would prefer it that you took your gaming to a server more in line with your skilll level.

If you wish to carry this discussion on any further, please feel free to email me (in Trust) or join up at our forums as I will not be responding any further in this thread.

U only improve by being challenged and + i dont think i have his tags yet and i only just started playing normal :( boo SAS, come on fix that attitude ;)
 
Banning hackers for sure, but banning people you you "think" may be hacking and are just as likely to be a very good player is lame.

Its great fun to play with and a challenge to play against players who know what there doing.

It says more about the complainers on your server than anything else.
 
Another voice for Pickleator from me. Always seemed like a fine player to me and responds well to my taunts and banter and seems to enjoy playing the game fairly.
Consult the MM shortly, I'll be selling pictures of his gold tags that I have. You can print them out, stick them on your monitor and pretend that you're as good as me. Buy 2, get one free. £5 each.

Vamp banned someone for baseraping after I said about it! I'm a trusted player, woo! I feel speshul.

Haven't had a game all weekend, had to go and paint a bloody ceiling for my mother. I suggested she buy me another GFX card for helping, instead I got 4 cans of John Smiths. Be on later, to take the best player on the server title from Pickle :D.

In the whole yes very and I consider myself to be in a far better position to comment on it than someone who doesn't even play on it.

With regards the Pickleater situation I am at odds with the decision myself but am helpless to do anything about it. {SAS} know my position on it but I no longer even play the game so I ask, what is one to do ?

For the record as requested, I have removed the server from my sig and asked Goon to remove it from the front page (you need to bare with me whilst he gets that message) so that it is no longer "advertised" here, And you wont hear another word about it from me on this forum and I ask you do likewise, Finally with regards support for pickle (of which I count myself 1) I suggest that if your that way inclined then simply avoid it if that's what you want to do.

I'm genuinely not interested in making this into a drama, especially not here in a thread that is meant to be about the game itself not some stupid server, I'm simply here to help people with any game related issues or info as I know a lot about the server hosting and PB aspect of it, but I wont stand by and read lies that relate to good friends of mine, simple's.

hmm atleast the whole angle of combining multiple war eras is something special about this game, other wise i guess for the price i would rather get sorry to say cod =0
still rampaging with the chinese machine gun seems to have me coming back for more
