Up. The Iron Giant. Watership Down. Grave Of The Fireflies. Always cry like a baby at the end of The Incredible Journey, mostly because I have Bull Terriers.

Admittedly it was a sad scene but nothing that should make a grown man cry.

Although some of you guys who are more in touch with your sensitive side might not find it funny but it reminds me of when I went to see Spiderman 3 at the cinema. I took my wife and we sat down and a single man sat next to me who reminded me of comic book man from the simpsons but he was a big guy even next to me (I'm 6`2"). Anyway, it got to the part where his friend (the green goblins son) dies and this guy burst out crying, proper tears pouring down his face. He didnt even stop crying when the lights came up.

I am sorry but it did make me laugh. Cartoons are bad enough but crying at a Spiderman film is just unbelieveable.

I found Up to be a bit of a tear-jerker. I didn't cry, but you get that lump in your throat and as my 4 year old daughter says 'hot eyes'. I find myself more emotional now I'm married and have a child. I think it's more an empathy thing than anything else - stuff like that wouldn't have bothered me in my teens.

My biggest tear-jerking 'thing' is seeing nice/sad stuff that reminds me of my parents. (They're alive btw).

Watership Down.

Yeah, cried at this. In fear. Watched it when I was 5 years old and it scared me witless - I had nightmares for months. I'm 24 now and I've not yet managed to sit through the entire movie again. Last time I tried I got to the big general rabbit and started shaking so much that my buddy thought I was having a fit.

Grave Of The Fireflies.

I'd challenge anyone not to - the single most depressing film I've ever seen in my entire life. Studio Ghibli make some good stuff, but this is just a ballad of human misery.

i've cried at loads of films, can't say UP is one of them though.

This, nothing wrong with crying in a film, let's you know you're human, that last bit at click got me unexpectedly. Then i had to hide it pretty sharpish, everyone was clearly blubbering at the end tho.

It all comes down to character development, and given that Comic Book guy has probably grown up with them for years he probably got a little emotionally attached. :p
