Thinking of getting an xbox 360 (new one)

But dunno if I should get the 4gb or the large HDD version for price reasons.
Also I have a rather large widescreen monitor I use for my gaming which is HD but sadly has no HDMI input. Is there anyway I could use my xbox 360 on that using the VGA?

You can just buy the VGA lead for the 360, official is best though for optimal IQ, and I'd always go with the higher storage capacity.

For the audio you can either feed the 360 into your monitor speakers if they have any, through to a separate pair of speakers or into your PCs line-in connector using the Red/White phono connectors + 3.5mm adaptor that are attached to the lead.

You really want the HDD so you can store/run your games from there instead of the optical drive.

Would definitely opt for the HDD mostly for the reason that ic1male pointed out. Other reasons being stuff you can download from Live, like demos, trailers, arcade games etc.

ah still would go for the 250gb although i wouldnt mind seeing a matt version instead of gloss.

250GB version for sure. HDD is so useful to have on a console.
