Do you know what you want to do/be in life?

Hate my degree doing ICT. Sick of IT in general.

I work part time in a garden centre and really enjoy it - I love working with the plants etc. and I think it would make me very happy as a full time job in the future.

I don't care about money - people have told me there isn't any money in horticulture but it really doesn't bother me, being happy and enjoying what I do means a lot more to me.

Graphic Designer. But what area within that I'm not sure. Quite like magazine work, websites, anything that needs a layout really. Still at uni doing my degree and working part time at a signage company doing artwork (Creating/preparing for print), but yeah.. At 20 I feel as though I have plenty of time to decide and experiment

Just finished my A-levels (pending results) and I want to be some sort of programmer to do with internet security. I like the idea of using AI to attack systems (ethically) and will look into this after my degree (if I get in). Going to Loughborough to do Computer Science :) But I might look at courses in Ethical Hacking elsewhere.

Aged 24, doctor, aiming to work in general practice. During school I enjoyed design tech, art, physics and maths...but somehow ended up going in the opposite direction with medicine. Always have a few regrets from time to time, usually when i'm on nights!

Im 23, the next 2 years are going to put a lot of ideas in my head, but this is what it is so far: Sourcing manager for banks.

Basically, find how much data throughput the banks are using, try to get the best deal.

I've worked in finance, going to be working for Telecoms for the next 2 years (hopefully a lot more). I think im in a strong position atm.

Thats my aim, worst you can do is sit and do nothing.

being happy and enjoying what I do means a lot more to me.

This is why at the ripe old age of 43 I've decided to go to Edinburgh Uni and study Psychology :D I've heard a few folk that I was at college with and all they ever spoke about was the potential salaries that they might get after they graduate from Uni. I'd hate for them to do 7 years of law and then find out that they don't like what they do :(

18 at the moment. I want to be a teacher, and maybe teach abroad or in lesser privileged settings. Then hopefully a headteacher or some job on the education board, I'll see where it takes me as it is such a diverse career.

Starting the first of three years teacher training at uni in September, can't wait! :)

Just a drunkard replying to the title:

Yes, I want to be Hugh Hefner and sit in the grotto banging hot bunnies and be driven in a Mercedes Benz 600 Pullman limo by a bunny while banging 2 bunnies in the back.

:).

I enjoy my job, I do a lot of voluntary work as well as an Ambulance CFR but i'm sort of half thinking that I may want to join the Police at some point. My dream job is to become a traffic officer :)

Never too old mate - go for it! I studied psychology at A Level and it was bloody hard but it was also very interesting.

Garden Centres are excellent businesses. You could make a decent living in this field, but you would need to be selling plants yourself. Not easy to get to that position, but a good business once you do.

Rgds

23, made it to my post-uni goal of becoming a VFX/3D CG artist for film a bit earlier than expected, now a bit lost.. Guess I just enjoy it until the next goal is formed in my head!

I'm thinking of aiming towards working abroad for a few years.

Not sure what I want to do with my life, currently working in IT as an Officer. Got plenty experience under my belt now though but not sure where to progress it. I had the chance of Network Engineer / Network Team Leader, however never put in my reports or went for the interview. Big money jump... never mind.

Suppose I better go on more courses to be honest otherwise I won't be going nowhere. Got to live this 100 MPH life style to keep up with daily life these days.

Did a foundation degree but hated it so much so I quit after two years and did a lot of technical courses instead, along with experience. It wasn't the way I wanted to learn.

I don't want a high life everyones trying to get too, I want to be happy and be top at a job I do, which is hardware/software field.... do best instead of progressing to try and get higher and higher.

Currently writting my personal statement to keep my job as an officer due to the cuts to the public sector.
