All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
That's paraphrased on that site. It is also the reason that such sites and such views should be confounded and jeered at every turn. It is not feasible for us to allow such views to be passed on to the next generation.
Evolution isn't a hoax, you can see it with your own two eyes if you know how. That doesn't mean that creationism is wrong, just that evolution happens too.
^^... i've pretty much stopped going to church because of stuff like this... i was sick of ignorant people spouting rubbish about science.. I'm not saying i agree with evolution whole heartadly-( in that all species on earth originate from basic bacteria or some sort)- moreover i got sick of the age of the earth discussion- some of the people are so hipocritical, on one hand flaming scientists for even the slightest assumptions they made, and the other making up scientific theories that make no sense in order to fit what they saw the bible told them... Unfortunately these theories had the ability to spread very fast amidst people who had no real knoledge of science...
- I can't remember what famous scientist said it, but its a famous phrase that basically says either the universe/earth is near enough as old as we think it is, or god is a "prankster"-( in the sense that everything around us has been made to look tremendously older than it is)...

I'm sorry but it's either one or the other, can't have it all yours! And in this case it's only the "other".
Creationism is invalidated by evolution which is based in scientific fact. You can't have it both ways.
Yes you can. Evolution proves that we change our genetic structure over time due to a myriad of factors - this can be observed in the lab. It theorises where we came from but doesn't prove it. Creationism could still be the source of all life, all we know is that we've changed since then.
One of my Uni friends is doing a PhD on this and I've had many enlightening discussions with her.
I didnt actually think you were a nutjob..
I'm worried that you people don't understand what we do and don't know about evolution. This is genetics 101.

Creationism could still be the source of all life, all we know is that we and every other creature have changed since then. The theory of evolution still doesn't explain how the first source of life came to be.

Creationism has nothing to do with evolution or genetics.
