So, deposit's gone on and i'll be going to pick her up on thursday. 2002 330Ci club sport

i didnt go out with the intent of buying a club sport, but after seeing many a knacker and nail, this came up perfect, and within my budget (which i stretched a little from my spec-me thread. Has Xenons, Auto Lights, Auto Wipers etc. Wheels were refurbed not that long ago

Tyres: Bridgestone Potenza RE050 all round
Owner Count: 2
Mileage: 65k
History wallet: thick with receipts, including ones in the last couple of thou for control arm bushings
Seller: Nice guy with nice house and family, who's looking at 5 Touring to replace it due to expanding family, and who clearly loved the car

Looks nice but as I said in the previous thread you've missed the two best bits about a Clubsport - the wing and the colour, might as well have just got a normal 330Ci Sport

i dont like the spoiler personally. it was 7.5k, which was the fourth cheapest clubsport i can find, and easily a grand better than any of the vanilla 330ci's i tried. i wasnt married to any particular spec, and the same day tried a 65k saloon at 6750 which was just... shabby

it's a 5 speed manual, and by far the best shift i've ever used. SSG makes baby jesus cry.

That car doesn't have Xenons though - well, if it does, they will be badly fitted, dodgy ones as it has no projector lenses. I'd get them out if thats the case

neither the first owner's BMW dealer servicing, or anything in the second owner's nature struck me as likely to end up fitting shonky xenons. so maybe it doesnt have them. i'll double check against the original purchase invoice (tick!) when i get it..

anything will be brighter than the candles in my old focus

Unique rims, front corner splitters, Clubsport kick plates. spoiler (but mine doesnt have this) and 20kg less sound deadening.

conflicting reports over whether they are lower or not. if they are, it's 15mm

Nothing to check, it doesn't have projector lenses, it doesn't therefore have factory fit HIDs. This means by its very nature, that if it does have Xenons then they are shonky.
