As above really - looking to do a site for a friend and was thinking of building it on the concrete5 cms. It does have an ecommerce addon but was thinking that using paypal cart may be easier.

Is this really the easiest and most hassle free way of setting up a simple online shop? Don't really want to go down the route of something like zencart as customising the front end stuff will take too long to tweak/master.

In paypal do you just set up each product within paypal itself and then all the cart stuff is managed on paypal?

If I have a link for 'view cart' will it point to a url on paypal site?

I use Paypal and find it to be okay for my needs, buttons you can create inside Paypal account - up to a 1000 I think plus you can enter in how many you have of each item for stock alerts etc

All the cart stuff is managed by Paypal, when you create a product button (buy now) you will also get the code for your (view cart) button which you can run through your website.

If you wanted to go more in depth theres a good forum here: https://www.x.com/docs/DOC-1613
