tbh I'd have been happier it ending at L if they had to do it that way.
 
Killing those kids that hit that man? Wouldn't think that's right. If it was someone like T-bag from Prison Break then I would be fine with that.

Yep L was so much better but still a damn good read, Its the first proper manga ive read on the advice of my girlfriend and i was damn impressed :D yet to watch the anime but its gathering dust upstairs somewhere and im sure ive got the live action film hidden somewhere.

In regards to the OP i dont think id agree with vigilantes killing criminals as it kinda advocates taking the law into your own hands which i thouroghly disagree with. However with ***** like these two i feel that it is utterly disrespectful and immoral just how easy they have been let off. The gentlemens family must be devistated not to mention his grandaughter will be scarred for life :mad: Utter scum!

If done properly, fine... but, if you have people being killed who were innocent, or for less serious crimes, would be very bad.

Anyone who thinks that vigilante murdering doesn't turn out that way is an idiot who is determinedly ignorant of history.

It would be much better to have people executed for public entertainment in football stadiums. You know, like the Taliban did. The Taliban thought they were doing a good thing.

Easily said from the comfort of your seat but what if yourself and the people you loved were at a real and continual risk? personally I would think it would very much depend on the circumstances and most people would opt for state sanctioned killings rather than do it themselves.

In a society in which people were free to kill other people, you and the people you love are at a real and continual risk. What is being suggested is causes that. It doesn't stop it.
 
Against, even the worst of murderers deserve life in prison to prove their innocence.

If there was someone going round stealing prisoners TVs and XBOXes I'd be happy.
