To sum it up every 6 months myself and my house mate have a "getup@8&drinkalldayathon" in the house. Usually involves Mario kart, a few films and a blast on the xbox. This time I have a 360 controller adapter for the pc and am looking to play some classic games.

Games we both like are Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Turtles ect. So I'm looking for more classic titles in that vein. (or any 2 player coop really)

Cheers for anyone's help!

I had the kind of the same situation recently, I play on my 360 a lot, but not too much, my gf showed a interest in wanting to play as well, so I bought lego star wars saga, did not work as the coop cam on it is dreadful, recently bought lego harry potter years 1 to 4 and I have to say, we are both loving it! More than normal due to both being fans of the HP series.

So maybe give the lego games a try?

Another vote for harry potter lego its fun! + all the other lego games

Resident Evil 5? also for co-op

ofc still cant beat the classics on n64

Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Mario Kart

Dynasty Warriors
Samurai Warriors
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam

Basically, Koei's "Warriors" series is some of the most old-school hack'n slash games you can get and they come with 2-player split-screen.

if you have original xbox or ps2 Baldurs gate dark alliance was good fun, if you're a geek. :p

Halo games?
Mario kart
Sonic games maybe?
Streets of rage

thanks for the the advice

Hate to be the killjoy but I don't think you can use the Wireless adapter for more than one controller mate, so might have to hook up with some USB ones? I could be wrong though.

I suggest Streets of Rage 3, n Super mario all stars for snes
