lately im getting some strange emails from [email protected] which appears to be from the home office.

some women named 'tanya' apparently wants a CRB check done, but has put forward my email address!.

what should i do? ignore the mails or waste time ringing up the home office to say they have the wrong email address.

I'd contact them about it if it was me. As generally worthless as CRB checks are, its still best to be safe

As above - if they have the wrong email address then there may be someone waiting for a CRB check and it's delayed because they made a mistake - my wife had to have a CRB for her work , and she couldn't do certain things until it came back.

Indeed, didn't we have some guy on here yesterday asking what to reply to a text message from a random number too?

It was a serious question as well :(

Despair.

Hehe, its the effects of the social networking generation.

Oh !! I have picked a piece of fluff from my belly button, I MUST update my facebook status and tweet about this wonderous event :D

:oSorry i dont usually post random stuff, just had a migraine for a few days & my head feels messed up. Yep will just hit the reply button saying they have the wrong address.
