VXR Trackday @ Croft [18/07/2010]

Finally the Croft VXR trackday is less than 24 hours away!

I know there is thread already for an AM convoy but this covers both AM/PM sessions.

So who's who coming and to which session? I'll be at the PM session with 4 of my mates. First trackday ever and the fastest car I've driven is a Fabia vRS (130bhp) so should be fun!

Any tips in general and any specific ones for VXR days?

I'm driving, not spectating

I think they will have a photographer there though who normally gets hundreds of pics.

I doubt you'll be wanting to carry your camera round. Nowhere safe to leave it when your driving.

Will there be food available for spectators? Gf needs to know whether to make herself sandwiches

I'm there for the AM session. I'll be in a black Mondeo ST TDCi.

Only tip is don't queue for specific cars - just jump in whatever, particularly early on in the session and get as many laps in as possible. If there's anything you've missed do it at the end - they've always made sure everyone got a go of everything at the other 2 I've been to. Make sure you get a passenger lap or two in with the pro drivers as well - again, these will be quieter towards the end of the session.
