This is a system I've put together for a friend, that I will be building. She won't feel comfortable overclocking it herself. I would do it my self but she isn't close enough for me to help if something goes wrong after I send it to her, so that's why I've gone with the bundle.

What do you guys think, could I do something better?

I would honestly swap that bundle for

AMD 955 - 120
OCZ reaper low latency - 80
Gigabyte UD3H - 105
Titan Fenrir -32

roughly ~ 350.

I know WoW and the Sims are very cpu intensive games and even thou I doubt they support quad cores, it might be worth the extra 100 pounds just to future proof it even more.

Change the PSU to OCZ Mod 600w and it's only an extra 90 bucks.

The 955 is extremely easy to overclock but I doubt she'll have to just playing WoW anyway.

So this seems good to everyone?

Oh and what other cases can compete with the 300 in terms of cooling and price?

yep its good but I would personally change PSU to a modular one. An OCZ 500w one would do :) Non modular PSU's get rather messy inside of Antec 300's.

I think the Antec 300 is the best value case in its price range but there are some Coolermaster alternatives which are also good.

At this price point, I'd go with the 955 - UD3H - OCZ Reaper combo. Although I'm not sure she needs a 890GX board (but it's a good board). Good balance of components and price, and will handle her games, and more, easily.
