its been ages now, and i still cant decide... 5850 or gtx460 !?

indeed, i was going to get a vtx @ 194, but the asus you can clock up - the peep is like 10mi from my work - how can i shrug that off eh!?
 
Check this review out, yeah max rez and 8xAA, the 460 gets crushed.

But who actually plays at that res with 8xAA?

At 1920 4x which is what I and most folks use it's right up there with it ;)
 
From what Iv seen the GTX 460 is more of a 1680x1050 card.

Both will be great.

5850, slightly better fps

GTX 460, physx support

To make your decision easy, is your mobo, crossfire or sli?

Are you more comfortable with ATI or Nvidia.

You cant go wrong with either.

^ This. I just find it stupid to use unrealistic settings such as 2560x1600 and 8xAA for representing graphic card performance for mid-range cards, when most people are only gaming at 1920x1080/1200 res and with 4xAA; and even for the folks that game at 2560x1600, I doubt they would insane enough to use 8xAA on a single GTX460 1GB or 5850.
