I agree that looks good. but i cant say i can cough up an additional £184 to benefit - so therefor irellevant.

yes its a bit slower, but not by much.

and its obvious that your graph is flawed with a 1gb 5850 beating a 1.28gb GTX470 at that res.

Both will be great.

To make your decision easy, is your mobo, crossfire or sli?

Are you more comfortable with ATI or Nvidia.

You cant go wrong with either.

My 5770 was fine at 1920, the GTX460 is easily capable of such a res without breaking sweat.

I just find it stupid to use unrealistic settings such as 2560x1600 and 8xAA for representing graphic card performance for mid-range cards, when most people are only gaming at 1920x1080/1200 res and with 4xAA; and even for the folks that game at 2560x1600, I doubt they would insane enough to use 8xAA on a single GTX460 1GB or 5850.
