How dirty is your PC

Because most people would be scared of opening their PC or not knowing how or they think they'll get a shock or something. My PC filters need a clean but I only do it a few times a month.
 
mine is not dirty at all... but the dust filters get clogged up within a few days. ( got a 902 case)

plus no offesne but those pcitures are just too fake. i think someone will notice if you they have a few mice/rats living in their own computer.

Mine will be cleaned this weekend as I am awaiting a new can of compressed air from OcUK to arrive (Should arrive today along with my new mouse, a Razer Imperator! :D).

Thing I liked best about that video above is that you can clearly see the cameraman is wearing a white shirt and work shoes :D
 
we have a few pcs come in that are built in antec 900 cases the amount of dust i have to clean out, :)

hate doing pcs that have been smoked next to for years. rubber gloves time :(
 
My old pc was full of dust and the one before that had a spiders nest inside it. I have my new fractal r2 case now so all is clean.

My keyboard however is a packard bell from 1996...

edit - you can see im not a programmer. The 9,0 and - have been used in the past few years in my login password, thats why they have less muck on them!
 
Why not just get a new keyboard? A Logitech K340 provides good key throw and feedback and is £30 - inexpensive as far as keyboards go for price vs quality.

Your photo brought a little bit of sick in my mouth.

You pick your bogeys and wipe it on there? Watch 2g1c in actual 3D or something?

Nasty.
 
My parents often look like that when I upgrade them, 4 or 5 years of use with no cleaning.

For most computers it makes no difference, they don't overheat unless you have a power hungry system that is over clocked.

Not that I clean mine, but often upgrade parts here and there, so never has the chance to get like that.
 
Mine is filthy - I have 80gb of pron.

It's very rare that a PC comes to me clean. It's the smokers that are hell. The dust settles in a yellows tar and it's difficult to remove. it caused a motherboard failure on a regular customer of mine on a PC that was 3 years old so maybe in conducts.

I had one come in that had a broken beer bottle in the bottom.
 
That reminds me, mine's coming up to it's annual strip, clean and rebuild :(

First time doing it on my new case and it's going to be awful, my p182 is a pain in the arse to work with :(
 
My first ever computer was quite bad when I finally opened it up years later. I then had another computer with a new graphics card and after a few years it busted due to being clogged.

I learned my lesson and now check inside every few months to make sure it's all bright and breezy inside. Dust guards on intake fan really do help!

Did it really make you feel sick? I've seen/used worse.

Wouldn't personally use one like that though

I upgrade too regularly to warrant any cleaning
