I really do still like their older stuff but since MTM they really haven't been worth paying attention to.

Isn't Nu-Metal dead? If they go back to their older stuff, it probably wont sell either.

It reminds a lot more of the remix I posted somewhere in this thread

Minutes To Midnight was different and I liked it - but still my favourite tracks from LP are definitely from their first two albums...

What's people's thoughts on it? I love it, it's a new sound for them for sure. ‘The Catalyst’ sounds like the songs from Meteora and Hybrid Theory to me.

How can it be a new sound if it sounds like the songs from those two

It isn't too bad, not great though. It goes on a bit too long, the end feels quite dragged out.

lol, good point. What i should said is that it doesn't sound like Minutes to midnight.

I just listened to the final product on the MySpace page and I think it's very average

Pretty disappointed still - But I'll keep my hopes up for the album - I still have a couple of LP songs I dislike...

meh. It's decent, i just hope the other songs on the album are more metal/rock then this. I also want to hear some Hybrid Theory in them!

Yeah it's not that the song is too long lengthwise, it just feels like a 3-4 min song that has been lengthened to me.

I think it's like more MTM than Hybrid Theory. It's like 60 - 40.

The instruments are there, but there is nothing in them...not loud enough if you get what I mean.

Hopefully the rest of the album is better!
