Hail!

My 8800 is on it's last legs, artifacts are beginning to appear on the screen and the such. I'm also looking for more performance out of my gaming, although it's admittedly not too heavy as per Crisis-levels. I also wish to consider photo manipulation for future use...

I'm not looking to spend too much money being a student and all that. ;) I was looking at this ATI 5770, the opinions on the forum seem to be generally approving of the card. The 5850 is sitting a little too far out of my price range.

I run at 1680x1050.

Intel i5 750
GA P55 Mobo
Enermax Liberty 500W P/S
OCZ 4GB DDR3 1333MhZ

Takk!

By the sounds of things a HD5830 might be a good buy. If you have a look around you can pick them up for just over the price of a HD5770. The lower spec GTX460 is another good option and can be had for a little more again.

A HD5750 is a great performing budget card for £80.
