After a straight forward phone

Having been with three long term, I can generally negotiate a pretty good deal but not many phones are catching my eye this time round.

I text and call, I'm not particularly interested in the latest gadgetry, useless social networking compatibility and random software I'd never use, just after a sleek phone.

Any suggestions?

Some of the Nokia models caught my eye, 2730, 6700, 5230(not sure I want to head down the touch screen route again) but I'm rather undecided.

That's good to know. Never had a Nokia. Coming from LG touch phones, I'd rather have something sturdy and straight forward.

Never been particularly fond of the Sony Erricson range, unfortunately.

iphone? Thats classed as a normal phone.

I have a c510 and it is better than equivalent priced nokias £70ish. Rock solid, great screen, on gsm I get 4 to 6 days with light use. With 3g this does drop.

Three do the E71, if you don't mind qwerty see what deal they'll do.

Best phone I've owned so far, especially for call/loudspeaker quality and battery life!
