what kind of dual dvi cable do i need?#

i have 2 gtx 480s SLI config, and decided just to have them on one monitor for now (while i change rooms and upgrade) so what setup do i need, my current monitor only have 1 dvi port and 1 hdmi port.

what is the best thing to do? thanks

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you already have them connected to a monitor?

For single monitor usage you only need to connect one card.

SLi bridge connects the power of two cards and gives the output via the one cable you have connected to your monitor. 2x times the power, make sure you enable SLi through the Nvidia control panel. It's magiskal like that hairy pottery bloke.

Ah I see I can either have a card dedicated to PhysX or I can have SLI

which is better running 1 monitor?

Running one monitor is "The norm". If you have SLI on you can still run PhysX as well.
