You'd think with all the driving about i do i'd know better, but 'ran' a red light today at a junction. Its a filter light apparently and it didn't register to me that the double lights meant something :o Stopped in the middle of the junction to turn right and didn't cross until it went green, but supposedly since i crossed the line i did run it.. no camera there and wasn't pulled over or anything so i guess i'm safe? Heres the link to the junction in question..
Hate it when i make noob mistakes like this and this is not my year

If there's no camera and you didn't get pulled you'll be fine. I did something similar the other day

You sure those are red light cameras and not just speed cameras?
We have those over here, they're radar-operated Gatsos.

Yeah, after some Googling I see that the Gatso speed cameras look identical to their RLCs.
They use the same housing.

I'm slightly perplexed at how you managed to do that OP.

Heh.. being stupid is prolly the best answer. I had literally just woken up, had to be in Milton Park at 8:30 and i got up at 8 at the guesthouse which was about 5 miles away, quick shower and was off. Saw the green and somehow it didn't register that it was an arrow not a round light, then saw the red light on the other light and thought 'aw ****' but i was already in the middle of the junction, so i just stayed there until the light went green then did my turn. Funny thing is, no one beeped me or told me off, plus i could swear the guy behind me did the same thing.. they must've seen the Sat nav and though 'bloody tourist' lol.

thats sneaky :p

around luton there are quite a few cameras at stop lights.
i got caught a few years back, now when i see a yellow light, i floor the brake:D
but this is more dangerous, as i have nearly been rear ended (no jokes please) a few times
