ARDS Test Passed, and some new pics.

im quite surprised no one has commented on the obnoxious rear spoiler! :D i was ready for that too! :p

Perfectly suits the car tbh, its their for a purpose ultimately aswell.

Kinda weird how with no real external mods, you just somehow know thats a racer. Most S2k's don't scream out 'track weapon' but that one somehow does, definite presence about it.

Tbh the wing doesn't look big enough, needs to be bigger and more aggressive. See the orange Amuse 'Touge Monster'.

its not quite a touge monster yet though :P

Main goal/aim is a J's racing dry carbon rear spoiler.

I have some carbon canards here that im contemplating putting on the front bumper :D

Nice, the wings make a big difference to rear end stability on the track.

Looks great, and you echo what everyone says. Taking an S2000 on track you would expect it to show it is a road car and hence roll around corners etc. Infact it seems to do the opposite and they feel at home on a track.

One guy has a EVO6 TME as his 'track car' and an S2000 for a daily drive :
"Was at my first track day in the SK2 since i bought her, The TME is not going at present waiting for bits and pieces to arrive for it so i thought i would take the daily driver down and see what all the fuss is about and to learn the limits of the car and how she reacts when being pushed.

WOW is all i can say, i had no idea they were that good when being pushed hard on a track, i was able to sit with stuff that IMHO i thought would easily pull away from me. Handling is superb at the limit, no nasty surprises at all, very surprised how controllable it was when the back end did come out.

I am sorely tempted to turn it into a track car now"

I think in hindsight it would have been interesting to take it out on track in standard trim and then as it is now so I can have a better understanding of just how good it is.

Cant wait to get more track time now, and get the other mods done. Just picked up a 'prototype' cai that im gonna test and make some adjustments too :D

You've nothing to worry about until it's about as nuts as this:

Didn't even know you had an S2K, still got the R32? As ever with your threads it looks like a lot of attention to detail and money is going to make its way in and I love the S2000, something I'm saving up for. Will be keeping a keen eye on your progress.

Are you in the tuning business then? I remember you were Preston way so if I get an S2K I might be knocking on your door :)

Suspension/Chassis tuning yea, not so much engine or performance.

After doing a lot of researching and thinking we (me and my dad currently) decided the best course of action was to concentrate on chassis tuning, suspension setup etc. We got a top of the range Super Tracker 4 wheel alignment rig, Intercomp wireless corner weighting system, and all the extras to go with both to offer a pretty comprehensive chassis tuning and setup service :) I dont want to say too much so as to offend the mods, but all the info will be on the mavity works website, im finishing most of it off tonight :)

No worries, will keep an eye out. Got an MX5 at the moment and want to look at the ride height and handling at some point. A good place to focus too, not many places up north who specialise in that side of things like WIM so with luck you'll be quite successful :)

I'm calling BS... no way could you fit in that, and with a helmet on who you trying to kid?

sick ride br0 ;)

Giddy!!!!

Haha do you not remember me getting stuck in Will Gills at iLan? Because he has that nokia phone mount kit in or something. That was funny.

Its not bad now though, the seat and wheel with quick release make it about perfect!!
