So my work van was broken into on Thursday evening/Friday Morning.

A couple of chavs were spotted last week trying the door on the van and my neighbour caught them and scared them off. A taxi driver saw them aswell and actually give them a good kicking! :eek:

Now what they were after was a stupid chavvy Ripspeed pop up headunit which was fitted by the previous possessor of the van. They wanted it so badly that they came back for it and managed to get it this time. They put the passenger side window, opened the door and just ripped the headunit out.

Now the best part is... it's broken! The screen doesn't pop out fully (touchscreen so you need it for the majority of the controls) and the cd player doesn't work.

So good luck getting that working you stupid ****ing ****s! :D :D

I'm not bothered though. Got better things to worry about at the moment. The only slight inconvenience is having to source a new window for a Transit Connect. They only smashed the smaller piece, not the larger one which was nice of them.

You seem to be forgetting that irrelevant of whether it works or not, they will still selotape it to the dash of their Corsas and proceed to proudly show it to all the other McDonalds customers.
 
you can only hope that they manage to gimp up the wiring when they fit it into their own car and set it on fire. althogh the way this country is you'd probably end up getting sued for letting them steal a substandard item
 
£5 says they put your window through with it again next week with a post it note attached to it asking for a refund ;)
 
Glad to see you're not too upset. :)

I hope the chavs die from fail-induced rage at the fact they twoc'ed a brick. :D
