What do you keep in your car?

This is gonna take a while

In the boot -
  • change of clothes + cold weather stuff
  • sleeping bag
  • wash bag
  • roll of bin bags
  • 5L petrol
  • crappy peugeot wheel brace (it bent the other month when I was planning on undoing a wheel nut  but I still keep it around to undo the spare wheel)
  • decent wheel brace that actually works
  • first aid kit
  • jump leads
  • common tools - e.g. screwdrivers, spanners etc of common 106 sizes
  • crimping tool with an assortment of crimping ends, relays, fuses, spare wire, switches, and the like (never know when that Peugeot electrics'll come back to haunt you, especially when you've a spaghetti-nest of alarm-wires stashed under the passenger floor mat:D)
  • toilet roll (for checking oil level primarily :p)
  • 1Lish of oil (gotta find a bag for it, it's leaking a bit :()
  • squash racket and shoes
  • several cans of red bull/lucozade
  • air compressor
  • exhaust repair putty
  • multimeter

Think that's everything, lol.

And in the cabin..
  • torch
  • umbrella
  • atlas
  • compass :D
  • coat

I have far too much stuff but can't be bothered to clean it out/prioritise..

I keep just about nothing in my car - I don't even have a spare wheel. The only CDs are in the multi-changer.

When I'm feeling adventurous, I may occasionally put the compressor/tyre-repair crap in the car, but even that stays out of the car most of the time.

In the Mondeo there are currently two used 225/45/18 tyres, a wooden train set, some winnie the pooh (and co.) bears, a flat 'micky mouse' jump pack (£29.99 from a service station - not mine) to which I do not have a charger for, and a tube of bonjella.
