Star Wars The Old Republic what class you playing?

Cant believe your actually believing that.

The game developers said on the forum that the player behind the consular was playing the "healbot" role for the group not to wipe.

Last thing you want is that when your trying to show off your game to millions.

And they said that a consular can dps no problem while also healing.

Ah that makes perfect sense.

The people who where playing the game in the video are telling you exactly what they were doing and why, yet you disregard what they say and just go by the video?

An early SWG pvp system will suit me. Kiddies will go Republic for Jesus. Sounds like they are on the right track with this game. With. The benefit of hindsight it should avoid the mistakes some other games have made....I hope!

Not going to argue, I'm sure they have changed it to make play more interesting, seeing a jedi stood rooted to the spot spamming heals was not impressive, that's all.
 
I think a lot of people are seeing the consular and inquisitor as the classes that can do anything, hence the popularity.

Imperial agent is the only sith class that interests me, and I'll have a go at smuggler on the other side, out of respect for my old smuggler / pistoleer :)
 
I plan to play every single class :D

But mains will be Smuggler and BH

atm am more interested in seeing what races are playable.
 
I'll certainly be playing all of the classes, but I haven't decided which will be my first.
 
Consulars will have more than just a healbot specline, I guarantee. Whether or not it'll be worth it's salt or not, we won't know until at least beta!

I'll likely be a goody-two-sabers as usual and be on the Republic's side. I'll be playing through various DPS archetypes and will land on whatever I feel suits my style best. :)
 
I would love to be a Jedi(Who hasn't watched the films and then dreamed of being a Jedi, honestly?) but i know that it will be a very popular class, that I why I am going for either a Trooper or a Sumggler as my main and a Bounty Hunter as my imperial alt.

I think closer to launch we should set up guilds for both Imperial and Republic members on this forum, choose the same server and have an Star wars Overclockers war :P
 
Haven't fully decided yet - Will probably give them all a quick go before choosing my main class...

But have my eyes on Bounty Hunter at the moment :p
Hoping to kill some Jedi scum :p
 
Looking at a bit of Beta footage is it me, or is PvE really easy in this game...They say that they want you to seem heroic but to me it just looks like you can take on tons of enamies at the same time and kick all of their asses...

That argument is only valid if the 1 enemy or 10 enemies were equally strong. More fun to fight off numbers than just one. If you can just survive both engagements it takes similar skill, maybe more with multiple targets :)
