Oxford area.

My girlfriend and I are moving to Oxford in 3 months or so and I am looking at places to rent and it's quite expensive!

Does anyone live around the Oxford area that I should maybe look at?

The critera is pretty standard, no chavs etc

I will go up to £900/1000 a month for the right place but would like to pay less obviously.

I'm commuting a little as it is, I'll be driving to Warwick everyday.

My girlfriend has just got a job offer in oxford so as close to Oxford as possible really.

Agreed, the closer to the city centre you get the worse it gets except once you get to the city centre if that makes sense lol

If your gonna be commuting to warwick i guess you wanna be near headington sort of way or close to the M40 ?

When you do come here you should organise a mini oxford meet theres a few of us on here lol

I'd say look at Kidlingon. Bus route into Oxford for her, access to motorway for you.

yeah i agree with kidlington, plenty of buses, close to M40 lots of shops and not a bad area.

Another vote for Kidlington here, I live in a small village just outside it. Quite a nice place, close to Oxford, buses into Oxford every 5-10 minutes.

West Ox is nice, but the commute is not! Unless you work non-office hours or have a motorbike, then be warned!

Kidlington is a good call, maybe look at Abingdon too.
