Picked up a lovely MR2 Turbo GT revision 3 earlier today, paintwork is beautiful with only a few stonechips on the bonnet and front wings and a chip on the windscreen, but it is 17 years old! No sign of rust though, may get it undersealed.

Pulls very strongly and has been taken car of really well, with refurbed gearbox and calipers all round, feels very tight when driven.

The only thing i don't like is that the drivers seat is a fixed bucket, and it's a rather tight fit and not particularly comfortable and my girlfriend can't see past the steering wheel when she sits back, so will probably swap out with a standard seat, the passenger seat is standard and very comfy.

The exhaust is an aftermarket stainless steel Berk twin exit, which has a nice throaty burble but is fairly refined at motorway speeds.

A few mods:
lowered 30mm on apex springs
S/steel exhaust
greddy/trust sideskirts and air vent
Sparco steering wheel
Sparco evo bucket seat
Lightened flywheel

I'm not sure what I think about the side skirts, the seller gave me the original air vents so i may swap them and take off the skirts. What do you chaps think?

The pictures are a bit crap as i only have my iphone, the original advert has much better pictures - http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=138444.

I've heard all the myths about them being pretty lairy but the rev 3 has improved suspension and this one has abs and the very rare traction control option. I was able to be rather enthusiastic and the car felt very stable and planted. I think the danger is when you do stupid things like boost too much into a corner or drive like a wally in the wet.

Hedge missile remarks etc :D

Nice car mate, without trying to sound condescending just make sure you take the time to learn the limits (preferably in a safe environment!) as they can be quite violent when they go past their limit. Enjoy! :)

Definately, I'm going to take it easy, this is a world apart from my 70hp 1.4 Clio.

Nice car, had mine 3 years now and it was my first rwd car at 20years old. They arn't dangerous unless you start boosting around corners in the wet and generally driving like an idiot. The traction control is pretty useless though! I feel a lot safer with wider tyres on the rear.

Great car there mate. Just like my old rev 3. The Berk is a lovely sounding exhaust on these, keep it polished and the look awesome.

If you want to sell those Greddy Sideskirts i would be very interested in buying them off you.

Ooh nice! Is racelogic traction control a worthwhile addtion on these, as it appears to be on't Supra?

It's manufacturer fitted traction control not the racelogic, I have no idea how good it is but I love the gadgets so it's a bonus for me.
