Hi Guys,

I'm building a Folding PC based on the UD5 motherboard and Tri-SLI dual slot graphics cards.

Can anyone suggest a compatiable case? Unfortunately the final PCI-E slot on the UD5 is at the very bottom, which means the case needs 8 PCI slots rather than the usual 7.

Suggestions needed, the more affordable the better, sub £90 would be ideal.

List so far:

*Antec 902
*Antec Skeleton
*Lian Li PC-7FN
*Lian Li PC-60FNW
*Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000

Thanks,

Mark

There appears to be an OcUK staff echo in this thread! ;) :D

But yes, it appears to be the best option for the money.

Just a quick word of advice for you matey, i have the UD5 and had 3 x Radeon 5850's fitted. With the bottom PCI-E slot filled with a dual slot video card you can't really connect the mini cables (HDD LED etc) as it means your card isn't sitting flush

In the end i just got fed up as the bottom 5850 was actually popping out whilst the PC was on. In the end i just sold two of them and bought the 5970 so i didn't have to use the bottom slot

Just a word of caution!

EDIT - depends which UD5 - sorry
Mine is the GA-EX58-UD5, i think the GA-X58A-UD5 might be ok?

Cheers

Thanks for the advice, I'll bare that in mind. Hopefully I won't need anything plugged in down there what with it being on 24/7 and the power button in the top right. So fingers crossed it won't be an issue.
