Really loud hold music!!!

I am currently on hold to Orange, and it's so loud, but any attempt to turn it down will result in me being unable to hear the assistant if/when my call gets answered.

Put your phone on Speaker and boogy.

Carphone Warehouse are the worst. They play that same Call Out The Instigator song over and over but they only ever get the first verse done and then they do the 'your call is important' type waffle and then they start the song from the beginning again. Argh!

My worker was supposed to come in on tuesday, friday and saturday and has now just informed me he cant because hes trialling for a different job. Almost every week he has a day off due to some other moronic reason such as "free tickets to drayton maner" "taking the missus out".

Once I ripped into him and he told his mom who told my mom who told my dad loool. He's my cousin as some of you might have guessed. He gets favored over other workers (even relatives) because hes dad has a good friendship with mine and because he's seen as a goody two shoes (someone who wont cause trouble at work...)

Now I have a suitable replacement who I can rely on everyday, so now I wont even call him in anymore.

BBC iPlayer is terrible for variable audio levels. The stings at the start of shows are needlessly loud.

And why on hold with Orange may i ask? i'm tempted to call them to remove my Data tarriff and ignore/buy out the contract because the signal is pants.

I phoned up Orange on Friday and had music at a normal level but when it finished and the next song came on it was barely audible! That may sound good but it I couldn't tell if I was still connected haqve the time.

Wait till the woman comes back then fake a recorded Hold message & play Death Metal down the phone, that'll learn'em !!!

I get the latter all the time, very frustrating.

Would you believe I've been RickRolled by Virgin Media? :D Was on the phone listening to their hold music and then "Never Gonna Give You Up" pops up ... they didn't resolve my problem .... damn ********.
