Does anyone know if the new 5*** series cards give better video image quality than the older 2600 series? If not then it may not be worth me upgrading, i'm just getting fed up with the below error message coming up on my current HD2600 Pro
"The audio portion of HDMI is not working properly. The AMD DVI-HDMI dongle currently attached is not designed for this display adapter. To enable audio, connect an audio cable to the back of the "audio in" panel found on your display"
I don't need audio from the ATI card! I have an Asus HDAV1.3 and i have even disable the ATI audio in the device manager, but this keeps popping up and interrupting my films!
